Welcome to Colloca Estate Winery, a 103 acre waterfront estate located on the southern shore of the Great Lake Ontario in the small resort Village of Fair Haven, New York. The estate boasts 900 feet of unobstructed pristine bay front property ensconced on Little Sodus Bay, a secluded inlet from the Lake.

Guests of the property can arrive by land or by sea and visit the Tasting Room to sample our award-winning Colloca wines and enjoy cheese and charcuterie platters, to compliment the tasting experience. Our knowledgeable and friendly Wine Ambassadors will tell you all about our wines made from our Estate and also those that we make in Australia. In peak season, the adjacent outdoor WINE BAR provides full bar service including Colloca wines, craft beers and ciders and specialty cocktails. Voted among Central New York’s Top 10 Outdoor Bars by Syracuse.com, The WINE BAR boasts its Lake Effect Vineyard® Stage where live music performances and karaoke are featured Spring, Summer, and Fall five days a week.

Seasonally, Colloca’s Wood Fired Kitchen provides the areas favorite al fresco dining experience in our Adirondack style pavilion. The open kitchen concept features specialties from the Wood Fired Ovens that fire authentic pizza and smoked chicken wings at 800 degrees. Appetizers, salads, burgers, and sandwiches are delights on the menu, but the USDA Prime steaks, USDA Prime beef brisket, and seafood specials are the calling card that attract guests from all over to experience the special menus.

In the off-season, our Winery Lounge, located just across from the Tasting Room serves as our restaurant and comfortable space for guests to relax and unwind. Flat screen televisions offer sports and vintage music videos, for the eye to enjoy along with the winery themed décor collected from Chis and Mindy Colloca’s world travels. The Lounge abuts to our 3,000 square foot commercial kitchen offering an open kitchen concept for guests to visually enjoy the cooking experience. Cooking classes, and special wine pairing dinners are among the other activities that take place in this space.

In 2020, the latest project, The Fair Haven Event Center, was completed, offering 10,000 square feet of luxury ballroom space for weddings, private parties, conferences, and events. Over 3,600 linear feet of beams went into the construction of this amazing space and the Maria Theresa inspired crystal chandelier attracts everyone’s eye. With sprawling million dollar waterfront views and lawns, this new space has become one of upstate New York’s premier attractions for visitors.

Home to the Lake Effect Vineyard® with blocks planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Riesling, its prime location in the Northern most part of New York State’s esteemed Finger Lakes Region where the wines are made on site using state-of-the-art equipment combined with traditional old-world winemaking techniques incorporating both stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels. The winery also sources fruit from half-way around the world, making premium red wines from the Barossa Valley in Australia for guests to enjoy. Colloca wines have won “Best of Class” awards, and scored 95 points and won double-gold medals at blinded international wine competitions judged by wine industry experts. Colloca Estate Winery was named 2019 New York Riesling Winery of the Year, and 2020 Pinot Noir Winery of the Year by the New York International Wine Competition held in New York City annually.

Colloca Estate is the perfect venue for weddings and events of all sizes, from small gatherings, class reunions, showers, clambakes, anniversary and retirement parties, to larger weddings or corporate events. Full service catering and professional staffing ensures that every detail will be addressed to help create your vision.

Seasonally, special events and festivals are also showcased at the property including the Fabulous SOFA Fair Haven July 4th Fireworks Celebration, Fair Haven BayFest Paella Festival, and The Lake Ontario Food and Wine Festival among others. Estate Tours are also available by appointment. Colloca Estate Winery is easily accessible from nearby cities of Rochester and Syracuse, both of which are only about an hours drive.
